Called “The Beast of Dufftown”, introduced in bold rectilinear bottling and matured into the masculine mahogany colour, Mortlach is the unknown that stimulates the most curiosity in the world of Scotch whiskies. The robust flavour resulting from the unique 2.81 distillation process, together with a 26-year maturation period in two different types of casks have made a Mortlach 26 Years Old with an outstanding character.

The mysterious appeal of Mortlach 26 comes from the flavours of old oak and soft leather, developing into hard toffee, chocolate-covered coffee beans, and prune juice, which makes this beast taste not only so irresistibly sweet of dried fruit and honey, but also meaty of clove, grilled meat and oak tannins. Spiciness, after all, marries intense fruity notes in a long-lasting final embrace. A rare release with very limited availability of 3,883 bottles.
