One of the oldest spirits in the “Special Release 2020”, Dalwhinnie 30 Years Old is distilled in the high mountain area with merely 6,978 bottles. It is this rugged terrain that gives Dalwhinnie the cold and pure water, which determines its distinctive taste and perfect quality.

Long fermentation and three decades of distillation in refill casks have brought this 30-year-old Dalwhinnie a strength of 51.9% ABV peaking to perfection. The first impression is the gentle and elegant aromas of grassland and dried herbs, which are immediately associated with desolate hills surrounded by mountains. The following sweetness of toasted butter cake and the richness of sea salt are harmoniously combined with the smell of smoke spreading in the palate.
