The word “Cardhu” derives from the Scots Gaelic Carn Dubh, meaning “Black Rock” while implying good fortune and happiness. Dubbed the “Queen of Speyside single malt,” Cardhu 14 Years Old is matured in thick Amontillado sherry casks for a rich, pungent taste.

The initial aromas of grapes, pears and cherries have been associated with the cool summer in Northeastern Scotland. Fruit flavours harmoniously blend together and flow into the throat, then bring out a hint of lily of the valley, a suggestion of vanilla cream, and finally a pleasant dryness lingering on the tongue. Cardhu 14 is also distinguished by its elegant box and elegant amber colour, creating a strong impression of unique beauty.
